Role Purpose: We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Sommelier to join our team at Fenchurch Sky Garden. If you have a passion for wine, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering top-notch service, we invite you to be a valuable part of the experience.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting the Head Sommelier in the daily running of the wine department.
- Delivering exceptional wine service, ensuring an outstanding guest experience at all times.
- Advising guests confidently on wine pairings, recommendations, and regional knowledge.
- Ensuring correct storage and handling of wines to maintain quality.
- Maintaining high service standards in line with the brand and venue expectations.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a sommelier in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of wines, regions, and varietals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Certification from a recognized wine education program is advantageous.
