Sales Coordinator London sets the perfect stage for The Standard's first European flagship and since opening in 2019, The Standard, London has firmly established itself as one of the capital's most dynamic lifestyle hotels. Set in King's Cross within the hotel's iconic brutalist building, The Standard brings its design-led, culture-driven, activation-heavy philosophy to the heart of the city.

With 266 guestrooms ranging from snug Cosy Cores to terraced suites with outdoor bathtubs overlooking St Pancras Station, a constant programme of Happenings, from DJs and brunches to live music and cultural panels, the hotel has become both a neighbourhood fixture and an international destination.

Our Restaurants, Bars, and Rooftop terraces are legendary, and The Standard is known worldwide for nightlife and culturally relevant dining. Isla offers seasonal, produce-led menus on a serene garden terrace; Double Standard pairs American diner spirit with British pub classics; The Rooftop serves cocktails and hot dogs with panoramic London views; and Decimo brings bold Mexican Spanish cooking, mezcal, and skyline views via our iconic red-pill lift.

Together, these venues create a complex, high-volume, multi-outlet operation running from early morning through late night, welcoming hotel guests, London locals, and international visitors alike. In London, The Standard's signature mix of playful, sophisticated, and unexpected hospitality continues to evolve, rooted firmly in the culture and energy of the city.

At the heart of our hotels are of course our people who through their vibrancy and energy bring our properties to life. We are now seeking a team of diverse and dynamic individuals that will capture the very essence of the Standard London to join our team as a Sales Coordinator.

Your role as our Sales Coordinator will provide administrative and office support to our Sales Managers in addition to general sales support to our wider sales team as we introduce the Standard London to our clients and associated business partners. This is a busy role, scheduling site visits for clients, hosting fam trips and dealing with group enquiries; so you need to be prepared to expect the unexpected and be ready to support the team across all these areas and provide the ultimate in client service delivery, that is anything but Standard!

It goes without saying that you will need to be highly social, upbeat and friendly; confident and can handle pressure well; thrive in a high volume, high energy environment and can manage both detailed administration tasks and conversing comfortably with a diverse range of clients, whilst confidently promoting our products and services.

While we take every detail of design and guest experience seriously, we do not take ourselves too seriously. 'Standard People' are at the heart of our brand; vivid, dynamic and engaging. You'll intrinsically understand the unique microcosm and the context of our venues and city you represent.

While prior experience as a Sales Coordinator is always useful, all are welcome at the Standard; you will have however an uncompromised and natural flair for Sales and be able to build genuine relationships with our clients that enable us to not only pre-empt needs but foresee desires.

In addition to this you will also need:

  • A proven track record in a similar Sales Coordinator or Group Reservations role with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, ideally gained in a similar 'Lifestyle', or boutique hotel sector
  • To be highly motivated and pro-active; able to act with integrity, professionalism and positivity in all employee interactions
  • Exceptional administration and organisation skills with great attention to detail combined with a natural ability and passion for sales
  • Prior experience of using Opera, Delphi, Salesforce and Microsoft Office

We are defined by our richness of personality and diversity of background and lifestyle so if you think you have what it takes to be a Sales Coordinator, we'd love to hear from you.

All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates prior to commencing employment.

Benefits Include:

  • Meals on duty
  • Pension Scheme
  • Life Assurance
  • Employee Rates across all participating Hyatt and Standard properties
  • In-house Experience Programme
  • F&B Discounts ranging from 25-50%
