As part of this commitment, we're looking for a Production Line Leader to join our Central Production Unit (CPU).

This is a hands-on leadership role, working closely with the team on the production floor to deliver safe, high-quality food to our restaurants. You'll lead by example, helping your team achieve production targets while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality and teamwork. Working pattern

  • Primarily Monday to Friday
  • Some flexibility required to support occasional weekend production needs
  • Shift patterns: AM Shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm, PM Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm

We are looking for:

  • A positive and approachable leader who enjoys supporting and developing a team

  • Experience leading a production line or team within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, GMP and quality standards

Here's what you'll get up to:

  • Team Leadership - Lead and motivate the production team on shift, allocating labour in line with daily production plans and supporting colleagues to deliver output, quality and efficiency targets.
  • Food Safety & Quality - Take ownership of food safety and quality standards on the line, monitoring Critical Control Points, maintaining accurate records and ensuring products consistently meet specification.
  • Health, Safety & Hygiene - Champion safe working practices and drive high standards of GMP, hygiene and housekeeping, keeping the production environment clean, compliant and audit-ready.
  • Production Performance - Run shift briefings, monitor line performance and complete production records, escalating issues relating to yield, waste, downtime or quality when required.
  • Equipment & Troubleshooting - Support the smooth operation of production and packing equipment, carrying out basic fault finding and escalating maintenance issues when necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement - Work closely with the Production Manager to identify opportunities to improve processes, performance and ways of working across the production line.
  • New Product Development - Support the introduction and growth of our new cook-chill sauce production line, helping to embed new processes, standards and ways of working.
