- Help maintain our hotel's high standards by carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently to minimise disruption and deliver an excellent guest experience
- Carry out routine inspections of equipment, plant rooms, and hotel facilities, identifying and reporting any faults or potential hazards
- Support the delivery of the preventative maintenance programme, helping to keep equipment and building systems operating safely and effectively
- Work closely with colleagues across all departments to address maintenance requirements and support the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel
- Assist with basic repairs and maintenance tasks across a range of disciplines including plumbing, electrical, decorating, carpentry, and general building upkeep
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and report any issues requiring specialist attention or further action
- Follow all health & safety procedures, contributing to a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests and team members alike
- WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, engineering, or similar hands-on role is desirable
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance including areas such as plumbing, electrical work, decorating, or general repairs
- A practical and proactive approach to problem-solving with excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a wider hotel team
- Flexibility to work shifts, including occasional evenings, weekends, and bank holidays where required
