We are seeking a committed and diligent Housekeeping Supervisor to join our housekeeping team. Housekeeping plays a vital role in our operations, and as a key member of the team, you will help ensure our guests have a clean, comfortable, and memorable stay.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting spot checks of rooms
- Supervising and assigning the daily cleaning of designated rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas
- Ensuring they are well-maintained
- Organising and maintaining orderly storerooms and trolleys
With your already-gained experience in housekeeping, we offer a range of roles for you to progress and advance your career. Advancement is available from Senior Housekeeping Supervisor and Assistant Head of Housekeeping Manager to Head of Housekeeping with a clear progression path and ongoing training for your career development.
What we're looking for:
- Essential:
- 1 Year experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in the Hotel Industry, preferably with experience in supervising large-scale housekeeping operations.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to thoroughly inspect and ensure that rooms meet high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong time management and organisational skills to prioritise tasks and ensure timely completion of housekeeping duties, especially during high-occupancy periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts: early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks such as frequent lifting and carrying up to 30lbs, bending and standing throughout your shift.
- Desirable (Not Required but a Plus):
- Experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality sector.
- Knowledge of cleaning & bed-making techniques and materials.
- Proficiency in Know Cross & OPERA (PMS System).
