About the Venue: Sky Garden sits at the very top of 20 Fenchurch Street - better known as the 'Walkie Talkie' - one of London's most recognisable landmarks. At 35 floors up, it's home to two restaurants, two bars, and a series of stunning event spaces, all set within a sprawling landscaped garden with sweeping views across the capital. The operation is managed by Rhubarb, a leading luxury hospitality company and part of Oak View Group (OVG) - a global powerhouse in live entertainment and venue management. It's a complex, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders, high volumes, and absolutely no room for the back of house operation to slip.

Role Purpose: We are seeking a Bars and Retail Head Chef to lead the food offering across Sky Garden's bar and retail outlets. This is a highly visible, operational leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering menus across multiple kitchens, ensuring consistency and quality.

What you'll be doing:

  • You will take ownership of menu development across all bar and retail offerings, alongside the delivery of activations, collaborations and seasonal concepts.
  • The role requires oversight of operational logistics across several kitchens and service points, maintaining consistency of execution in a high-volume environment.
  • Working closely with creative, marketing and social teams, you will play a key role in bringing brand partnerships and campaigns to life, delivering food concepts that are both commercially successful and creatively engaging.
  • Leading a team of 8 chefs to provide exceptional culinary delivery across Sky Garden's complex venue.

What we are looking for:

  • A Head Chef with proven experience in high volume, premium bar or retail led environments.
  • Strong operational and logistical capability across multiple kitchens or sites.
  • A confident leader, experience of managing a team.
  • A calm, organised and solutions-focused approach under pressure.
  • Experienced in high volume events, bars or retail environments.
