A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FRONT OFFICE COORDINATOR AT CROWNE PLAZA DOCKLANDS
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following:

  • Acts as the central administrative and coordination support for the Front Office department, liaising with Housekeeping, Reservations, Finance, Food & Beverage, Maintenance and other departments to ensure Front Office requests, guest requirements and departmental priorities are communicated and completed efficiently.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day administrative functions of the Front Office department, ensuring all records, trackers and documentation are maintained accurately and within required timescales.
  • Support the Front Office leadership team with departmental reporting, correspondence, payroll administration, training records and document management.
  • Maintain organised filing systems, departmental records and operational documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Raise and monitor departmental purchase orders, ensuring requests are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with suppliers and the Finance department regarding orders, invoices and outstanding deliveries.
  • Support the monitoring of departmental expenditure through accurate purchasing administration.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels of Front Office stationery, guest supplies, key wallets, registration cards and operational consumables.
  • Coordinate departmental stock ordering and conduct regular stock checks to ensure adequate supplies are available.
