As the Finance & Reservations Assistant, you will lead the Reservations and Finance functions, ensuring an exceptional guest experience from the moment a booking is made while maintaining strong financial controls and supporting the hotel's commercial success. You will oversee daily reservation operations, maximise occupancy and revenue opportunities, analyse booking trends and market performance, and work closely with the Sales, Front Office and Revenue teams to drive performance and support the continued success of voco London Marylebone.

Alongside managing reservations, you will be responsible for the hotel's day-to-day finance operations, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, financial reporting, budgeting support and revenue reconciliation. You will ensure compliance with financial policies and audit requirements, provide meaningful commercial and financial insights to support decision-making, and develop efficient processes while coaching and motivating the team to deliver exceptional service in line with IHG brand standards.

We're looking for a commercially minded and highly organised hospitality professional who can confidently balance financial management with exceptional guest service. You will have previous experience in hotel finance, reservations or front desk, with a strong understanding of hotel operations and a passion for delivering outstanding results:

  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in reconciliations, reporting, accounts payable/receivable and financial controls.
  • A good understanding of hotel reservations and distribution channels, including OTAs.
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach to handling group bookings, guest queries, and VIP requests.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret booking data and make strategic recommendations for rate adjustments.
  • Proficiency in reservations systems (ideally Hotelkey or similar) and CRM tools, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, able to balance high call volumes with guest requests and team training.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for creating memorable guest experiences and ensuring smooth, efficient reservation processes.
