Imperial London Hotel Group based at President Hotel in Bloomsbury, London is looking for a Commis Chef. This role involves working 40 hours a week on a fully flexible rota of 5 out of 7 days.
In joining our team, you'll be welcomed into the Imperial London Hotels (ILH) family, which has a rich history of 175 years of hospitality experience creating unique guest experiences. Our seven hotels are located in the heart of Bloomsbury, Central London.
As Commis Chef, you will support the kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality products through food preparation and maintain a clean working area at all times. You will follow Chef directions for presentation, ensuring that all food meets high standards and is served in a timely fashion. With your knowledge of all food and beverage items on the menu, you'll recommend combinations and upsell alternatives, bringing new ideas to develop menus and recipes.

- A passion for all things food with a basic knowledge of food preparation and culinary operations.
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment or currently attending catering school is preferred.
- Willingness to learn and try new things, with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

- A good command of the English language and the ability to communicate confidently.
