Welcome to The Londoner, a hotel that is chic boutique in spirit and feeling yet staggering in scale and ambition. Situated in the heart of Leicester Square, we are seeking hospitality professionals whose unique talents and ambitions will drive them to meet our guests' exacting standards.

We are currently recruiting for a Bar General Manager for The Stage and The Residence at The Londoner. The Stage offers an exclusive Champagne Bar, which also serves a high-end afternoon tea, followed by charcuterie in the evening. The Residence is a collection of three beautifully designed spaces just for hotel residents.

As Bar General Manager, you will be responsible for achieving revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction goals for The Stage through upselling and excellent customer service. You will direct the Bar and floor team to ensure both customer and staff satisfaction is achieved in a motivated and cohesive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure guest expectations are exceeded and seek opportunities to improve the guest experience by seeking feedback and evaluating service levels.
  • Implement and develop strategies to improve where necessary alongside the management team.
  • Be responsible for ensuring staff training, recruitment, coaching, and developing the team is at the forefront of the role.

About You:

  • In-depth knowledge of the London restaurant and liquor trends; experience of afternoon teas and champagne would be advantageous.
  • Current supervisory experience within a similar environment, with excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving outstanding levels of personal and departmental targets.
