We opened the first 5* Hotel in Liverpool; The Municipal Hotel & Spa MGallery in May 2023 and have reset the clock within this historic building, bringing it back to life.

We boast 179 stunning bedrooms set in a remarkable and inspiring landmark of the city.

What you'll be doing...

As Supervisor of Breakfast restaurant operations you will be supporting and reporting directly to the Breakfast Manager, F&B Operations Manager and the Restaurant Management Team.

You'll take full pride in playing host to our guests and will lead Restaurant Service from the front, overseeing a very busy service that is dedicated to the guest experience and culinary excellence.

As Restaurant Supervisor you may be required to support in other Food and Beverage Outlets on an ad hoc basis inclusive of Seaforth, Meetings and Events, The Botanic Tea Room or Palm Court.

Overall, leadership, proactivity and standards of excellence is key.

  • You will assist Management in the leadership and direction of service within the Breakfast area and you will proactively know how to pre-empt the needs of our guests - ensuring our team consistently reach the same standard.
  • You will play an important role within the division. Nurturing strong relationships is crucial to the successful management of the Restaurant and the Restaurant team.
  • Responsible for all areas of service and preparation, ensuring all opening, closing checklists are completed daily.
  • You will be able to read the room, anticipating and ensuring that you and the team are fulfilling the expectations of our guests with efficiency and care.
  • Warm, thoughtful, professional, and well groomed - you will be a key player in ensuring our service is unparalleled.
  • You will actively follow AA and LQA Standards at every interaction with our guests both in person and by phone and ensure that your team members adhere to these standards through efficient training and constructive feedback.
  • You will ensure there are always an effective and efficient handover to the Food and Beverage team of the days events.
  • You will be consistently ensuring your team are maximising revenue by upselling all aspects of Food and Beverage.
  • Managing Res-Diary efficiently ensuring that all covers are accurately logged, and No-Shows charged accordingly.
  • You will carry out pre-arrival calls to large parties and proactively resolve any complaints.
  • Naturally, you will be the front and centre of every event within the Restaurant.
