We are looking for a Learning and Development Assistant to join our People Team. The Learning and Development Assistant is responsible for supporting the coordination and smooth running of training courses and learning events across the business. The Role Book rooms and arrange logistics for training sessions and courses. Set up and manage course bookings using our Learner Management System (LMS). Communicate course details to learners, tracking attendance and completion. Keep training records and systems up to date, including issuing certificates. Respond to training queries via the Learning Locker inbox. Support the L&D team with reporting, purchase orders and general admin tasks. Experience A passion for L&D, service, safety, and upholding brand standards. Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring all courses are well-prepared and stakeholders well-informed. Understanding of the L&D offer and learner journey in order to effectively coordinate bookings and learner experiences. Willingness to develop knowledge of the LMS platform to manage course coordination and respond to queries confidently. A service-focused mindset with a drive to support clubs and learners at every stage. Ability to track and report on learner progress from attendance to certification and, where relevant, employment outcomes. Strong communication and relationship-building skills to engage with clubs, support office teams, awarding organisations, and suppliers. A proactive, enthusiastic, and β€˜can-do’ attitude. The ability to work independently and take initiative. A collaborative team spirit and confidence in working with stakeholders at all levels.
