Job description: Job Title: Junior Creative Artworker-Leisure Overheads Location: Leicester office – 3 day per week, Work from home 2 days per week Working Hours: 37 hours, Monday to Friday, day hours Salary: £22,000 to £25,000 per annum + Excellent benefits Here within Serco Leisure our goal is to encourage active, healthy lifestyles in an environment that is safe, warm, clean, friendly and fun. To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Junior Creative Artworker to join our fun and vibrant marketing team. Reporting to the Creative Design Manager, the purpose of your role is you will be working on design briefs across a variety of products, print and digital for our 50 leisure centres and 3 national sports centres, including destination sites, as well as helping to assist our bid team set up documents and internal assets for our senior leadership team, all with that feel good factor that you know that what you do is helping communities make more of everyday and lead a healthier, happier lifestyle. The role will consist of setting up multiple assets: · Print - leaflets, banners, posters, bid documents, POS, large format graphics, signage · Digital - Social assets, digital assets, PowerPoint presentations, animation, video editing You will also contribute creatively on projects when requested and visit sites when required so it’s desirable that you hold a driving license. What you’ll need to do this role First and foremost, you will be someone who has a “can do” attitude who can be committed to teamwork and collaboration. You will have the ability to work well with colleagues at all levels and to inject fun into the role. You will have previously been in a design role 1-2 years with proven experience and track record of creative art working projects large and small, with a very good eye for detail from start to finish. You will be Apple Mac literate and have strong working knowledge of Adobe creative suite/Cloud especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Knowledge of Adobe After Effects or any other video/animation software is beneficial but not essential, but with a keen interest to learn and develop those skills in the role. A confident user of MS software such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, with the ability to develop and produce high quality, accurate and engaging presentations in PowerPoint.
