We’re looking for a Holiday Cottage Cleaner to prepare our popular holiday cottages in Lacock and Avebury. You will be part of a small team looking after 3 cottages: 2 High Street and our newest cottage 20 Church Street right in the centre of Lacock Village, a popular destination for tourists and visitors. Fishlocks cottage in Avebury is located right in the centre of the historic neolithic stone henge circle.

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Part-time, 10 hours per week, hours will be split over 2 days per week. We cannot guarantee set days within this role however we do aim to give as much notice as possible with rotas. Working week for this role is Monday- Saturday, hours are between 10 and 4 however there can be some flexibility within these, and we are happy to discuss this further.

Potential start date: ASAP

Internally you will be known as a 'Holidays Operation Assistant'. For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.

What you’ll be doing: On changeover days, you’ll make sure that everything’s pristine and ready for the next guests to arrive. This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well-presented and welcoming. We’d also like you to keep an eye out for anything that’s not as it should be, and report any repairs or odd jobs that need doing. If you need to, you’ll also replace any broken items from the store supplies. Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided for all teams, and extra measures are in place to protect staff.
