We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Gardener with a keen eye for detail to join our gardening team and help transform a prestigious estate overseen by Grantley Hall. The ideal candidate will be driven, motivated, and enthusiastic about horticulture, with a particular passion for soft landscaping and maintaining exceptionally high standards throughout the estate.
Essential Qualifications
- RHS Level 2 in Horticulture (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence (due to the estate's location)
Preferred Qualifications
- PA1 & PA6 spraying certificates
Key Skills, Qualities & Experience
- Strong knowledge of plant identification and plant care
- Confident in the use of gardening machinery, including blowers and hedge trimmers
- Skilled in pruning and maintaining topiary
- Excellent attention to detail
- Passionate, reliable, and motivated to work in all weather conditions
