The Old Cock Inn is a delightful pub & restaurant in the heart of Harpenden, offering guests the added benefit of six boutique bedrooms. We have a stylish and cosy restaurant, a relaxed and informal bar area with a roaring log fire for the colder months, and our lovely terrace garden at the back. We're what you might call a 'proper pub' serving a selection of real ales and craft beers, alongside an extensive wine, gin and spirit list.

Supervisor duties include:

  • Taking responsibility for the customer journey, ensuring their experience is second to none
  • Taking accurate orders and working closely with kitchen staff
  • Ensuring payments and receipts are correct
  • Confidently recommending menu and drinks offerings
  • Observing service and standards and reporting any incidents or issues
  • Being a supportive and proactive leader

Requirements:

  • Previous Leadership experience in a hospitality or customer facing environment
  • Enthusiasm and passion for food and beer
  • The ability to deliver excellent customer service and great team work in a fast paced and pressurised environment
  • A result driven and ambitious individual keen to develop your career and your teams
