Fitness Manager - Barry, The Vale of Glamorgan (Bro Morgannwg) Barry Leisure Centre Full Time 40 hrs per week Barry Leisure Centre has recently undergone a significant transformation with a huge investment in our facilities and a brand-new, state-of-the-art gym area, leading to a surge in membership! We\'re seeking a passionate Gym Manager to capitalise on this incredible momentum. In this pivotal full-time role, you will be at the heart of our fitness operation and lead and inspire a dedicated team of fitness professionals, ensuring exceptional service and maintaining our high performance standards. This isn\'t just about managing daily gym operations and group exercise classes; it\'s about innovating, driving membership growth, and contributing to the long-term success of our fitness program. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all daily gym operations, ensuring a safe, high-quality, and clean environment. Lead, motivate, and develop our talented fitness team. Drive membership growth and maximise participation in all activities. Achieve financial objectives and implement effective systems. Monitor performance metrics, identify new opportunities, and ensure service excellence. Contribute to marketing efforts and promote our exciting new facilities. You\'re a flexible, reliable, and team-oriented individual with a REPS Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification. You\'re adept at building strong relationships with both members and staff, possessing excellent communication skills. Variable hours, including some early mornings, evenings, and weekends, will be part of the role. A Welsh speaker is desirable, but not essential.
