Bridgewood Manor Hotel and Spa is located in Chatham, Kent, is a charming and inviting retreat set amidst tranquil surroundings.
The hotel is furnished with comfortable and elegantly decorated rooms and has a reputable restaurant that serves a mix of contemporary and classic British cuisine.
Our six function rooms, cater for corporate events, conferences, and weddings and the spa is available for a range of treatments designed to rejuvenate and relax.

- A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A THERAPIST AT OUR HOTEL
- Deliver a full range of body and facial treatments to the highest professional standard, tailored to each individual guest.
- Conduct thorough pre-treatment consultations, ensuring all health conditions, contraindications and preferences are identified and respected.
- Create a consistently calm, welcoming and personalised environment from the moment the guest arrives to the moment they leave.
- Maintain treatment rooms to the highest standard of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene at all times.
- Confidently recommend and retail spa products as a natural extension of the treatment experience, not as a sales pitch.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively, not just reactively.
- Handle any guest concerns or feedback with confidence, warmth and professionalism
- Manage your schedule efficiently, minimising gaps and maximising treatment time.
- Contribute to the achievement of the spa's retail and treatment revenue targets.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, techniques, product knowledge and new treatment launches.
- Maintain high personal presentation and adhere to uniform standards.
- Complete all required records, consultation forms and treatment notes accurately.
- Support the opening and closing procedures of the spa as required.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out in line with the hotel's service standards and brand values.
- Report any maintenance issues, equipment faults, or general wear and tear in a timely manner.
- Follow hotel policies relating to health & safety, security, guest data protection, COSHH and allergen protocols without exception.
- WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- A recognised beauty therapy qualification, NVQ Level 2 and 3 or equivalent as a minimum.
- Demonstrable experience delivering a range of massage and facial treatments in a professional setting.
- A genuine passion for wellness and an instinct for exceptional guest care.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety, COSHH and professional treatment protocols.
- A people person with a knack for making connections and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Great communication skills, effortlessly handling guest inquiries, coordinating with the team, and sharing local knowledge.
- Detail-focused and organised, ensuring every reservation, request, and check-out goes off without a hitch.
- A quick thinker who loves to solve problems and keep things running smoothly, even when it's busy.
