Pastry Sous Chef - Bath, Somerset
A Pastry Sous chef role at THE PIG is like no other.
We use local suppliers within a 25-mile radius, source majority of our own produce from our onsite kitchen garden in order to to create our menus, which change daily.
Our Chefs are passionate and above all driven to provide our guests with an unforgettable dining experience, creativity is what we do best.
Our pastry chefs are chatty people, having constant conversations with the gardeners, local dairies, and farmers about what is available and what is in season.
Our kitchens are fast paced and energetic, which is what we look for in an individual.

As a PIG Pastry Sous Chef, you will oversee a small team and manage the pastry section.
You will be responsible for the junior staff on the section, so good people management skills are needed.
We want our Pastry Chefs to be as passionate and enthusiastic about modern British food and classic desserts as we are.
