Located just North of the town in Bedford, The Pheasant has recently benefited from a transformational refurbishment with cosy seating nooks and a glorious terrace at the front. The Pheasant is what you might call a 'proper pub' serving a selection of real ales and craft beers, including the latest brews from down the road at Brewpoint.

Position

Your role as chef:

  • Prepare, cook and present perfect food in accordance with company standards therefore exceeding guest satisfaction at every eating occasion
  • Taking PRIDE in maintaining highest standards of cleanliness
  • Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations at all times
  • Adhering accurately and consistently to portion controls
  • Carrying out stock rotation to ensure all food items are within their shelf life, including maintaining correct storage conditions
  • Ensuring the kitchen operation is maintained to the highest of standards with regards to cleanliness and maintenance

Requirements
