The Role Outline:
Your Shift at a Glance: As our Membership Advisor, you are the commercial driver of our Leisure Club. You will not just be showing people the gym floor; you will be capturing leads, managing a busy database, hitting daily call targets, and using your natural charm to close sales and build our membership base.
Why Village?
At Village, we do hospitality a little differently. We are all about personality, genuine connections, and creating great experiences for our guests and each other. That is why we back our teams to be themselves, take ownership, learn new skills, and grow their careers.
Previous sales experience is great, but your attitude and energy matter much more to us. If you are friendly, positive, love interacting with different types of people, and enjoy the thrill of hitting a target, we will give you all the support, training, and opportunities you need. Because it really does take a Village.
How the Village Thrives:
- We Can & We Do: We show up to make a genuine difference and do fantastic work every day, with purpose.
- We Will: Treat each other with respect and dignity. No ego, no drama. We try our best and look out for each other.
- We Care: We care about our impact on guests, the community, and each other.
Your Shift:
What You Will Actually Be Doing: We can teach you the systems, but we cannot teach you how to close a deal. We trust you to handle:
- The Sales Hustle: Hitting your numbers. You will treat the business like your own, delivering on strict goals including 20 point of sale referrals per month and 15 completed calls per shift. When an enquiry comes in, you are on it within one hour flat.
- The Guest Experience: Matching the package to the person. You will focus on the precise needs of potential members, conducting brilliant sales tours and offering tailored advice to get them signed up to a new way of life.
- The Standards: Protecting the product. You will complete a daily walk round of the leisure club to ensure our facilities look immaculate and standard operating procedures are met. Your own personal presentation must be impeccable at all times.
- The Communication: Being the face of the club. You will resolve complaints politely on the spot, ensure all member data is captured accurately, and liaise closely with the wider hotel team to make sure everyone knows exactly what we are offering.
How We Succeed Together:
We do not micromanage. It takes a village, so we believe in Ownership & Integrity, giving you the autonomy to manage your task list, solve practical problems, and smash your sales targets. We Empower & Elevate our people. If you want Room to Grow, we provide excellent training and development to help you step up in your commercial career.
Selling Our Benefits:
- Health & Wellbeing: Complimentary Health and Wellness Membership at your home Club for you and a friend (worth £1,500 a year), up to two mental health days, a discounted Health Cash plan, and an Employee Assistance Programme.
- Hotel Stays: Discounted overnight stays from £35, plus Friends and Family rates from £49 including breakfast.
- Food & Drink: 50% discount on Food and Drink purchased on or off shift at the Pub & Grill, plus 30% off at our Starbucks stores.
- Financial & Extras: Salary drawdown via Wagestream, High Street discounts, an Electric car salary sacrifice scheme, enhanced maternity and paternity pay, and your birthday off guaranteed.
- Development & Culture: Flexible working hours, regular team events, BIG People Days to celebrate our teams, and Anniversary rewards for key milestones.
