We are looking for an aspiring General Manager to support with the running of a successful Premium Golf, Health and Fitness Members Club near Hitchin in North Hertfordshire.
The company has recently promoted the Deputy General Manager to General Manager, and the company is keen to employ an ambitious motivated manager who they can develop over the next 18-24 months with a view to promoting them into General Manager in one of their clubs in the group.
Key responsibilities:
- Overarching responsibility for the member experience across the golf club, health & Fitness club and club house/food and beverage operation.
- Responsibility for brand standards and operational compliance, ensuring the club is clean, safe and in good working order.
- Direct leadership of the member service teams.
- Responsibility for training, coaching and supporting all the teams.
- Deputizing for the General Manager in their absence.
The ideal candidate:
- Ambitious, can-do attitude with a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Hands-on approach to leadership, always willing to support departments and interact with members.
- Experience of leading site operations in a premium health and fitness or golf club.
- Team leadership experience as Club manager, Assistant General Manager or very experienced department head.
- A strong eye for detail on standards, service and operational compliance.
- Have your own transport and live within commuting distance of Hitchin, North Hertfordshire.
- Flexible to work a range of shifts including some evenings and weekends.
