Duty Manager nr Kingston upon Thames 33K + bonus – Leisure Centre
We are looking for a Duty Manager to support the day-to-day running of a very busy and popular leisure centre near Kingston upon Thames with over 200 gym members and one of the largest learn to swim programs in the area with 2400 participants .You would be working for an award-winning leisure operator renowned for developing and advancing their team members, so this is great first step to eventually advancing your career with this market leader.
As the duty manager you will:
- Manage the on-duty staff whilst on shift, ensuring all tasks are completed.
- Responsible for leading a large team of lifeguards and cleaners.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety across the centre.
- Respond promptly and professionally to complaints.
- Ensure all equipment is set up and ready for activities.
We are keen to hear from candidates who have:
- Supervisory management and key holder experience working in fitness, leisure, or hospitality.
- Are First Aid Qualified.
- Hold a NPLQ lifeguard qualification.
- Can work a variety of shifts from 5.30 am-1.30pm, 2-10pm and typically 1 in 3 weekends.
In addition to a basic salary of £33,000, there is the potential to earn an annual bonus, the company matches your pension contribution up to 7%, there is free membership for you plus 1, medical cashback and free parking.
