The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Salary: Up to £40,000 + 30% bonus (£52,000 O.T.E) + outstanding benefits

Location: Southam, Warwickshire and/or Long Eaton, Derbyshire + some travel

Hours: 37.5 week, predominantly flexible office hours

We are working with one of the largest nationwide marina operators to find an Area Sales Manager to support 8 picturesque marinas in the West Midlands improve their customer sales journey, increase enquiry conversion and ultimately increase berth occupancy.

The Area Sales Manager will take ownership for the customer journey from following up all website generated enquiries, build relationships with prospects, book viewings with the marina teams, follow-up prospects and hopefully sign-up new customers into one of their marinas. This is a relationship building hands-on sales role with many enquiries coming from non-boat owners who need extra support in making their dream come true.

The person could be based in one of their marinas in Long Eaton or Southam where they have offices, or work between the two with occasional travel to the other marinas in the region.

With the company planning to double in size over the next few years, this is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark, shape this role for success, and in time, scale this across the group in a more senior capacity.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Have a passion for boats, the waterside, outdoor living or being active outdoors.
  • Customer-first mindset with a genuine passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.
  • Proven experience in a sales, customer acquisition or business development role possibly as a sales manager, sales support manager, business development manager, customer experience manager or very experienced sales executive.
  • Relatable b2c industry experience such as leisure & recreation, health & fitness, hotels & hospitality, holiday parks & travel, retirement living & residential property sales.
  • Consultative selling experience, with the ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Highly organised and disciplined, able to manage high enquiry volumes and structured follow-up activity.
  • Data-literate and confident using CRM or sales tracking systems to manage pipeline and performance reporting.
  • Able to influence, coach and develop others without direct line management responsibility.
  • Driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
