The Role
As General Manager, you'll take full responsibility for running one of our client's busy entertainment centres, creating a safe, fun and vibrant environment for both your team and customers. This is a highly autonomous role where you'll have the freedom to make a genuine commercial impact. You'll be responsible for driving the financial and operational performance of your centre across four key revenue streams: bar, diner, amusements and bowling. You'll have full accountability for delivering against your budget and KPIs, maximising profitability and identifying opportunities to improve performance. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you'll lead, coach, motivate and inspire your team to deliver exceptional customer service, creating memorable experiences that keep customers coming back.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a hands-on General Manager, ideally within the leisure, hospitality or retail sector
- Experience managing a budget of at least £1m
- A strong focus on delivering consistently high operational standards
- A proven track record of increasing sales and improving the performance of a business unit
- A genuine passion for people, with demonstrable experience coaching, developing and progressing team members
- An empathetic and compassionate leadership style
- Resilience, flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work evenings, nights and weekends
