Aquatics Manager to 38K

Guildford or Havant

We are looking for an Aquatics Manager to oversee the development and commercial performance of several swimming pools for a leading leisure management operator with leisure centres in Surrey and Hampshire. There is a great opportunity to grow the learn to swim programme and to drive revenue through new direct debit led aquatic products including synchro, water polo , diving and junior mermaids whilst growing the Swim England aligned learn to swim program further. In addition, you will:

  • Look at optimising the programming and timetabling of all pools to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Utilise the Course Pro software to optimise signups and management of the learn to swim programs
  • Ensure the operational quality and service delivery of the learn to swim programming is of the highest standard.
  • Drive commercial performance through the management of their key performance indicators and sales processes.
  • Implement and deliver a long-term strategy to drive participation, revenue growth and community impact.
  • Work closely with Swim England, schools, community partners and swimming clubs to enhance program delivery.
  • Responsible for managing and growing the team of 40+ swim teachers within the business.
  • Organise seasonal events, galas, half term courses and holiday activities.
  • Upskill lifeguards and train new team members to become level 2 Qualified.
  • Work closely with the Sports Development Team on both activations and drawing down funding.

We are looking for the successful candidate to work Monday to Friday with the occasional requirement for weekend work to support Galas and Events.

You can be based from either Guildford or Havant or between these 2 areas. You will be required to travel regularly between these venues and can be based at either location.
