More About Your Role

You will work closely with the Treasury, Tax and Legal leadership teams to provide specialist legal support across treasury and wider group finance activities. You will take a lead role on banking and financing arrangements, working with external lawyers, lenders and internal stakeholders to deliver complex transactions including loan agreements, bond programmes and refinancing activity. You will manage key relationships with banks, trustees and legal partners, ensuring compliance with loan agreements and regulatory requirements. You'll also lead on securitisation and property‑related legal work, including security releases, portfolio transactions and Land Registry processes. Alongside this, you will provide strategic legal advice on treasury initiatives, supporting high‑value decisions and continuous improvement of legal processes. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you'll act as a trusted adviser across the business, supporting internal lending arrangements, maintaining security documentation and contributing to wider legal and treasury projects.

Essential Criteria

  • Qualified Solicitor with post‑qualification experience
  • Proven experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating loan agreements and banking documentation (including ISDA and CSA)
  • Demonstrable experience advising on complex financial or treasury‑related transactions and mitigating legal risk
  • Experience working with banks, external legal advisors and multiple stakeholders on financing arrangements
  • Strong experience managing legal documentation and compliance within lending or treasury environments
