We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager on a permanent basis to support our Commercial Ventures team, working with ModularWise and The Hire Place. The role combines strong financial control with forward‐looking commercial insight, partnering closely with Managing Directors to improve performance, drive better decisions and support growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong financial control and forward‐looking commercial insight.
- Partner closely with Managing Directors of MW and THP to improve performance and support growth.
- Shape how finance supports the wider commercial businesses, enhancing reporting, processes and decision‐making.
- Support the Finance Director in developing and implementing finance strategies across the portfolio.
- Lead and develop high‐performing finance teams.
- Embed new systems and automate processes for complex, large‐volume data sets.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent).
- Strong track record in senior finance roles, with technical accounting skills and audit preparation.
- Proven experience leading and developing finance teams.
- Experience embedding new systems and automating processes (VBA and/or Python preferred).
- Commercial awareness with a proactive mindset and ability to influence and challenge constructively.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Basic DBS check mandatory.
