More about your role

As Placemaker Manager you will develop a high performing team through ongoing training, coaching and will ensure all prospective members are shown around the facility and encouraged to acquire a membership option that meets their needs. You will be responsible for the management of the placemaking team on items such as Rota Management, Training & Development and HR Matters and will need to feed back any areas of concern to your management team. You will also work closely with your manager to develop detailed plans to deliver the locally determined targets for membership acquisition, swimming lessons, courses, session catering and retail.

More about you

You will have previous experience of working within a similar role, ideally within a leisure/health centre environment and have well rounded knowledge of customer service and administration. Ideally you will have previous management experience and a good understanding of all aspects of running a successful Leisure Centre, from membership acquisition, maximising sales, rota management etc. Above all you will have a genuine passion for keeping fit and creating active places and healthy people.
