We are seeking a Store Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Southampton. To provide exceptional customer service and promote Leisure Lakes Bikes. Applicants will want to get involved with the local cycling community and embrace their role within the family of bike shops that make up Leisure Lakes Bikes. This is a great opportunity to develop retail leadership skills and experience.

You will be required to work on the busy shop floor answering customers' questions and undertake general shop duties as well as managerial responsibilities. These include operating our workshop diary, EPOS till system, stock taking and speaking with manufacturers/suppliers. We aim to treat everyone we come into contact with, with respect and dignity. You will be expected to operate in a professional and courteous manner when dealing with all customers, colleagues and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a bicycle shop is desirable, albeit not a requirement.
  • Good knowledge of bikes and e-bikes.
  • General IT competency is necessary as you will be required to work as part of a team and share the diary/workload with your colleagues using a computer program and database.
  • Management or team leader experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

We are offering competitive pay rates (salary will be dependent on experience). Your schedule will be 40 hours over five days and these days will include regular evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Employees are entitled to 28 days paid holiday a year plus extra holidays for long service. There are also amazing staff discounts and the option to join our Staff Cycle to Work scheme.
