Job Responsibilities
Leisure Furnishings Ltd is a privately owned manufacturing business based in the East Midlands supplying soft furnishings to the UK Leisure Industry. All of our products are manufactured at our site in Long Eaton.
An opportunity has become available for a Sewing Machinist within the Bedding department of this leading soft furnishings company.
The duties and skills will include but not be limited to:
- Knowledge and experience in using and operating lock stitching and twin needle machinery
- Ability to work within a team of machinists working to achieve customer demands and deadlines
- Ability to read and understand customer specs would be beneficial
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail required
This is a full time role 38 hours per week, Monday – Thursday with potential for extra hours dependant upon demand.
Immediate start required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
