We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team at the The Great Skate - Blenheim Palace for Winter 2025.
Role: Ice Rink Assistant
Location: Blenheim Palace
Contract: Temporary, seasonal (November – January)
Hours: Part-time & full-time shifts available (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
About the Role
As an Ice Rink Assistant, you will help create a safe, fun, and memorable experience for all visitors. You\'ll be working in a lively, outdoor winter environment as part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting customers with skate hire and returns
- Ensuring customer safety on the ice
- Providing excellent customer service both on and off the ice
- Helping maintain a clean and safe rink environment
- Supporting rink marshals to ensure safety on the ice
- Dealing with customer enquiries and offering assistance where needed
About You
We\'re looking for friendly, approachable team players who enjoy working with the public. Ability to ice skate to a good standard is preferred (all skaters will be assessed by a qualified coach).
Essential qualities:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Flexible with working hours (evenings/weekends/holidays)
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
