We're looking for a Mobile Optometrist to join our team, covering a collection of Leightons practices within a comfortable radius of your home address. The Opportunity

  • Location: Flexible. We'll work with you to create a territory around your home address.
  • Salary: £60,000 to £74,160 FTE (depending on experience and qualifications)
  • Working Pattern: Flexible part-time or full-time opportunities available, including some Saturday working.

A Day in the Life

No two days are the same. You'll work across a range of Leightons practices, building relationships with patients and colleagues while delivering exceptional clinical care. This role offers genuine variety, exposure to different teams and the opportunity to share best practice across our network. You'll play an important role in supporting practices, embracing new technology and helping deliver an outstanding patient experience wherever you work.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering comprehensive sight tests and eye examinations
  • Providing a range of clinical services, including emergency eye care, paediatric care and myopia management
  • Delivering tailored recommendations based on individual patient needs
  • Working across multiple Leightons locations within your allocated territory
  • Supporting colleagues through coaching, onboarding and sharing best practice
  • Maintaining the highest standards of professional practice and clinical governance
  • Building strong relationships with branch teams and local healthcare stakeholders
