Job Title: Social Media Specialist

Location: Clarendon House, Farnham, Surrey

Hours: Full time, permanent. Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm

About the Role

Responsible for enhancing our online presence and engage with audiences through various social media platforms. Developing, creating and sharing content to deliver social-first campaign ideas that promotes our brands, builds brand awareness and generates lead and traffic to our websites.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: develop and create relevant content. This includes imagery, videos and infographics, ensuring brand voice and message consistency across all platforms.

  • Social Media Strategy Development: Create a comprehensive social media strategy to align with the company’s marketing objectives. This involves identifying key performance indicators (KPIs), setting up campaign goals, and outlining a content calendar.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and wider teams to integrate social media into broader marketing campaigns and customer outreach initiatives.

  • Trends Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, applications, and best practices. Implement new strategies and tools as necessary to keep the company’s social media presence fresh and effective.

  • Community Engagement: Foster and maintain relationships with the audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions. Building a community around the brand is essential for nurturing customer loyalty.

  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor performance metrics such as engagement rates, reach, and conversions. Use analytics tools to track social media campaign effectiveness and generate reports that provide insights into user behaviour and preferences.

  • Communicating results: Presenting campaign performance to stakeholders throughout the company. Monitor and react to metrics and reports to allow senior management to understand activity and react accordingly.
