As the Leightons group continues to grow, we’re looking for a passionate, proactive HR Business Partner to join our collaborative People Team and help shape the future of our business. This is a Monday - Friday position, working 4 days per week (30 hours).

Your Role

  • In this proactive and varied role, you’ll be a trusted partner to our branch and area managers, delivering high-quality HR advice and support that enables their teams to perform at their best.
  • You’ll also play a hands-on role in:
    • Providing guidance and support across all employee lifecycle matters and employee relations cases
    • Developing recommendations and taking action to positively impact recruitment, development, engagement, performance and retention
    • Contributing to People projects and company-wide initiatives
    • Carrying out efficient and accurate HR administration

About You

You’re an experienced HR generalist who has a passion for providing a high quality, proactive HR service. You’re collaborative, commercially aware, solutions-focused and happy to take on the administrative side of HR as well as partnering. We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • CIPD Level 5
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practice as well as HR administration
  • Proven experience supporting and coaching business leaders in HR matters
  • Confidence handling employee relations cases
  • A proactive, collaborative and can-do approach with great interpersonal skills
