Main Purpose of the Role:

This role is perfect for an inspiring, adaptable, and experienced optometrist who can work flexibly across various locations within the Leightons network. You'll have a keen interest in new technologies and innovative practices, supporting the recruitment and onboarding of new colleagues and equipment. You'll be a strong team player, building trusted relationships with branch teams and local healthcare stakeholders while educating and delighting everyone you engage with.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive sight tests and eye exams
  • Provide a range of clinical services including emergency eye care, paediatric care, and myopia management
  • Tailor recommendations to address each patient's needs and preferences
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, including adherence to GOC standards
  • Work in various Leightons stores
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve shared goals and monitor performance
  • Ensure all clinical equipment is maintained and in good working order
