Overview
Lead Architecture & Innovation as a Solutions Architect at Leighton. We are looking for an expert technical leader to architect and implement scalable, high-performance cloud-native solutions while effectively managing stakeholders across business and technology teams.
Role Highlights
- Architect & Lead: Design and implement enterprise-level software solutions, including microservices, event-driven architectures, and serverless computing.
- Cloud & DevSecOps Expertise: Spearhead cloud migrations (AWS, Azure, GCP) and drive DevSecOps best practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with CXOs, product leaders, security teams, and engineering to align technology strategies with business objectives.
- Technical Governance: Lead and optimise architecture review boards to ensure compliance, performance, and scalability.

What We’re Looking For
An AWS Solutions Architect with:
- Proven experience in Enterprise, Solutions or Cloud Architecture roles.
- Deep cloud expertise (AWS) and hands-on experience with serverless computing, microservices, and API design.
- Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills—able to translate technical concepts into business value for executives and leadership teams.
- Expertise in agile methodologies, DevSecOps, and large-scale cloud migrations.
