As a Senior Business Development Manager at Leighton, you will have significant enterprise business development experience in consulting or technology professional services and a track record of winning six-figure new business deals. We’re looking for someone credible at C-suite level, aware of the challenges facing CIOs, CTOs, and their wider software engineering practices, and able to work collaboratively to deliver success. This strategic senior manager position focuses on driving revenue growth through lead generation, bid management, and sales process optimisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, create and secure new business opportunities within the software development industry.
- Market analysis: understand the technology, consulting, and professional services landscape.
- Strategic planning: develop and implement strategic plans linked to our ICPs to achieve growth and revenue targets.
- Collaborate to win new customers, taking the lead on opportunities from inception to close.
- Be accountable for delivering an annual new business target.
- Prepare and present business proposals, quotes, and contracts to potential clients.
- Network at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Monitor and report on business development activities and performance.
- Manage relationships with lead generation partners.
The Senior Business Development Manager will report to the Head of Business Development and be responsible for increasing our customer base. You will have access to our Community Leads, Pre-sales consultant, CRO, CTO, COO, and Marketing Team to help you achieve your targets.
