This role will be responsible for leading the full lifecycle of strategic pitch and proposal responses, with a strong emphasis on high value, multi-jurisdictional and multi practice panel RFPs for major institutional clients.
The successful applicant will be joining a collegial, collaborative and diverse firm where highly motivated individuals with an unwavering commitment to excellence receive the opportunity, support and development they need to grow, thrive and realise their greatest potential. You will be joining a team that is working to modernise processes, adopt smart automation, and codify best practices at a time when the function is undergoing purposeful change and building its impact across pursuits, processes, and enablement, with the goal of uncovering additional value for the firm.
Serving as a trusted advisor to the London Products team and broader European network, you will provide expert guidance, hands on support, and best practice methodologies for pursuits across the region. The Pitches & Proposals Manager will be required to optimise the EMEA proposals function, including daily workflow oversight, resource allocation, capability building, and the delivery of structured training programs for the wider BD team.
The role will be instrumental in driving the continuous improvement of the firm’s proposal infrastructure, focusing on the development of high-quality templates, curated content libraries, and playbooks that align with the firm’s strategy, brand positioning, and emerging market demands. You will lead and facilitate key pursuit activities, such as kick-off meetings, strategic workshops, and win theme development sessions, ensuring that all team members are aligned and that momentum is maintained throughout the process.
A key responsibility will be synthesising diverse inputs from partners and cross-functional stakeholders, transforming these into clear, client-centric, and persuasive written narratives. You will craft impactful executive summaries and tailored proposal content, highlighting value propositions, differentiation, and alignment with client priorities and scoring criteria.
As a guardian of brand, style, and quality standards, you will uphold consistency across all Proposal Centre outputs and will collaborate closely with design and creative teams, to integrate visual storytelling elements to enhance engagement and reinforce the firm’s brand presence. In addition, the role holder will leverage generative AI tools to streamline processes and support content development, all while adhering to firm protocols.
The ideal candidate will be a bright graduate or equivalent with experience in pitch, proposal, or pursuit management within a global law firm, professional services firm, or similar environment. You will have a proven track record leading complex, multi-practice, and multi-jurisdictional RFP responses, and demonstrable past success collaborating with senior stakeholders to shape pursuit strategies.

Experience with proposal content libraries, pitch automation tools, and generative AI solutions is a plus, as well as familiarity with pricing concepts and legal service delivery models. Strong editorial, project management, and strategic thinking skills will be essential, as will the ability to create visually engaging proposal materials in collaboration with design teams.
The Pitches & Proposals Manager will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple stakeholders and priorities across geographies. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and experience with proposal generation systems and CRM platforms are required. Personal attributes should include resilience, strong organisational skills, and the ability to lead under pressure while delivering high-quality, client-focused proposals.
