One of the world’s largest international law firms is seeking a highly skilled Pitch Specialist with strong interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, and exceptional organisational capabilities to deliver a best-in-class pitch and proposals service across the Middle East region. The successful applicant will be joining a firm with an ambitious global strategy that places clients at the centre of everything it does, with a clear mandate to strengthen existing relationships while expanding its market presence in key growth areas.
Marketing and business development are seen as pivotal to delivering this strategy, working in close partnership with lawyers to position the firm as the global law firm of choice for leading businesses worldwide. The firm’s Riyadh office operates in one of the most dynamic and fast-growing legal markets globally, providing market-leading advice to Saudi and international clients across core practice areas including capital markets, corporate and M&A, banking and finance, real estate, and litigation and dispute resolution.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end pitch process, from initial strategy development through to the final submission. The role holder will work closely with Partners and other senior stakeholders, ensuring pitches and proposals align with client needs and business objectives. You will develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic guidance and ensuring effective collaboration across teams.
A key responsibility will also be ensuring proposals are of the highest standard, including conducting quality reviews, making edits, and preparing presentations that effectively communicate the firm’s value proposition. Additionally, the Pitch Specialist will oversee project management, prioritising competing demands and managing tight deadlines.
The firm are seeking a bright graduate or equivalent with extensive experience in delivering competitive pitches and proposals, ideally within a professional services or legal environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing multiple, complex pitches simultaneously, consistently meeting high standards. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the ability to craft compelling, client-focused narratives that resonate with a wide range of stakeholders.
The Pitch Specialist will be confident in engaging with senior Partners and stakeholders, and will possess strong presentation and influencing abilities. Attention to detail is a must, and fluency in English, both written and spoken, at a native level is required. While proficiency in Arabic is desirable, it is by no means essential.
