The successful applicant will be joining a full service law firm with a fair and inclusive workplace, flexible ways of working, meaningful development opportunities, international exposure and the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the continued success of their Middle East practice. The practice continues to go from strength to strength, and this role will be central to delivering ambitious growth plans by driving creative, client-focused and commercially impactful marketing and business development activity across the region.

The role would be ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment while also being confident working independently and taking ownership. Working closely with the Middle East & Africa Senior Client Development & Marketing Manager and the partnership, you will play a key role in delivering the firm’s regional growth strategy and strengthening the firm’s market profile.

The role holder will need to be confident influencing senior stakeholders, securing buy-in for their ideas and taking ownership from concept through to delivery in a fast-paced and supportive environment. You will take ownership of client development and marketing initiatives across practice groups and sectors, shaping and delivering integrated campaigns that support priority clients, sectors and growth areas.

This will include leading the development of high-quality pitches, proposals and capability statements, managing strategic events, sponsorships and client programmes, and delivering targeted thought leadership and communications using a full range of channels. The Client Development & Marketing Manager will work closely with partners to identify opportunities, translate strategy into action and ensure activity is commercially focused and outcomes-driven.

You will collaborate with international teams and external agencies to deliver a seamless service, provide direction on corporate activity within the wider marketing function, champion CRM best practice and data-led decision making, and actively challenge traditional approaches by embracing technology, innovation and new ways of engaging with clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a marketing or client development role within professional services in the Middle East, with a strong understanding of how to support senior stakeholders in a complex, fast-paced environment, to include a proven ability to develop compelling pitches, proposals and capability statements, translating technical content into clear, client-focused messaging.

You will be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering or supporting marketing plans, campaigns and initiatives, including strategic events, client development programmes and market segmentation activity. The Client Development & Marketing Manager will also need a strong commercial mindset, with the ability to prioritise activity that delivers real value to the business and the confidence to advise and influence partners and senior stakeholders.

Experience using Interaction CRM and Vuture is desirable, alongside an interest in using data, technology and innovative approaches to enhance client engagement and support growth.
