This residential post provides valuable support to our Drama and Dance department, classroom learning and boarding houses. It’s a wonderful opportunity for recent graduates wishing to pursue a career in teaching or the performing arts. As a resident graduate, you will have time allocated to develop your own creative projects and portfolio.

About the role

  • Support the Drama and Dance team.
  • Assist with classroom activities.
  • Contribute to the wellbeing of both boarders and day students as part of the House Team.
  • Engage with our enthusiastic students in a co-educational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support classroom learning in Drama and Dance.
  • Assist with activities in boarding houses and support the House Team.
  • Ensure pastoral welfare of all boarders and day students.
  • Develop your own creative projects and portfolio.
  • Participate in professional development, training and coaching qualifications provided by the school.

Qualifications

  • Willing to learn and collaborate within a creative team.
  • Located in Reading town centre campus; willing to live in provided accommodation.
  • Successful candidate will undergo an enhanced DBS check.

Benefits and Salary

Salary: £20,500 per annum plus £1,500 boarding allowance, with free accommodation and free board during term time. The school provides accommodation and free board courtesy of our onsite restaurant Oakview during term time, access to a gym, swimming pool, and opportunities for professional development, training and coaching.
