About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven leader to raise standards and champion excellence across our Engineering apprenticeship provision – including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Metal Fabricator, Civil Engineering, Automotive and more. You’ll lead and support a team of assessors and reviewers to deliver outstanding learning and assessment experiences, ensuring every apprentice reaches their full potential.
Using your industry expertise and deep understanding of apprenticeship standards, you’ll drive continuous improvement, maintain compliance, and embed best practice across all programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape quality, develop staff, and enhance learner success within the Centre of Excellence.
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant industry experience in engineering and/or apprenticeship delivery.
- Qualified to Level 3 (or equivalent) in an Engineering or Science‑related discipline.
- Teaching, assessing, or internal quality assurance (IQA) qualifications.
- Proven experience in managing or mentoring assessors/tutors, and leading standardisation or quality improvement activities.
- A genuine passion for inspiring, motivating, and supporting apprentices to achieve their potential.
