You’ll build relationships, make calls, write adverts, source talent, organise interviews, create social content and grow quickly with full training and support.

Wage: £15,600 to £24,784.50, depending on your age

Hours: Monday‑Friday 9.00am‑5.30pm with 1‑hour lunch break. 37 hours 30 minutes a week

Start date: Wednesday 1 July 2026

Duration: 1 year 6 months

What you’ll do at work:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers & candidates
  • Proactively make outbound calls and work to targets/KPIs
  • Search for candidates, write adverts, review applications
  • Deliver a high‑quality customer service and overcome any challenges
  • Regularly post on social media, including videos and TikToks
  • Source, attract and identify relevant candidates for live vacancies
  • Conduct initial screening telephone calls
  • Write advertisements for job boards and maintain them on a regular basis
  • Liaise with customers
  • Maintain contact with potential candidates and applicants throughout the recruitment process
  • Manage the whole recruitment process up to and including the offer
  • Provide feedback to applicants on the progress of their applications
  • Employ headhunting techniques to identify and attract candidates where necessary
  • Any other reasonable duty or request

Training:

  • Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation in order to: write letters or emails, create proposals, perform financial processes, record and analyse data. Examples include MS Office or equivalent packages.
  • Able to choose the most appropriate IT solution to suit the business problem.
  • Able to update and review databases, record information and produce data analysis where required.
  • Produce accurate records and documents including: emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals.
  • Make recommendations for improvements and present solutions to management.
  • Draft correspondence, write reports and be able to review others' work.
  • Maintain records and files, handle confidential information in compliance with the organisation’s procedures.
  • Coach others in the processes required to complete these tasks.
  • Exercise proactivity and good judgement.
  • Make effective decisions based on sound reasoning and be able to deal with challenges in a mature way.
  • Seek advice of more experienced team members when appropriate.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships within their own team and across the organisation.
  • Demonstrate ability to influence and challenge appropriately.
  • Become a role model to peers and team members, developing coaching skills as they gain area knowledge.

  • Make suggestions for improvements to working practice, showing understanding of implications beyond the immediate environment (e.g. impact on clients, suppliers, other parts of the organisation).
  • Manage resources e.g. equipment or facilities.
  • Organise meetings and events, take minutes during meetings and create action logs as appropriate.
  • Take responsibility for logistics e.g. travel and accommodation.
  • Use relevant project management principles and tools to scope, plan, monitor and report.
  • Plan required resources to successfully deliver projects.
  • Undertake and lead projects as and when required.

The apprentice will receive a Level 3 in Business Admin at the end of their course. All training will take place on site at our office.

Requirements:

  • GCSE in Math (grade 4)
  • Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Other requirements:

  • This is a fully office‑based role, so we require candidates to commute into Chorley every day.
  • Successful candidates will also be encouraged to be involved in activities outside of work hours such as awards nights, team building and networking events.

About this employer:

Fresh are a recruitment company with a twist, charging for time rather than percentage placement fees, bolting onto business, acting like an extension to their team, dealing with everything from start to finish in the recruitment process. We are located on the high street in Chorley town centre with a team of 12 including one other apprentice. They will have a full‑time permanent position as a Talent Seeker with us and opportunity to progress within the business.
