We are looking for someone to assist our stock controller with ensuring accurate stock levels for weekly deliveries. Duties include:
- Weekly stock takes
- Error investigation
- Stock rotation
- General warehouse support
Wage: £16,640 first year, potential increase depends on age.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00; 1 hour lunch; 40hrs/week.
What you’ll do at work:
- Receive, unload, and verify goods
- Use Warehouse Management Systems
- Pick, pack, and load customer orders
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organisation
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Adhere to health & safety regulations
- Support shift operations as needed
- Perform general warehouse duties
Where you’ll work: POTTERS FARM, BRYN ROAD, ASHTON IN MAKERFIELD, WIGAN, WN4 8AH
Training: Apprenticeship includes specialist training; study to gain professional knowledge and skills. Training provider: WIGAN AND LEIGH COLLEGE. Training course: Supply chain warehouse operative (level 2).
Requirements: GCSE in Maths (grade 3) required. Other relevant qualifications and industry experience welcome.
