Are you passionate about science and dedicated to supporting the next generation of learners? Leigh Stationers' Academy, part of the highly successful Leigh Academies Trust (LAT), is seeking a talented and reliable Science Technician to join our team.

As a Science Technician, your primary goal is to support teaching and learning within the Science department. You will ensure that staff and students have the resources and technical support they need to succeed in a safe, efficient laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare equipment and chemicals for lessons, run trials of experiments, and provide technical demonstrations for staff and students.
  • Maintain, repair, and clean laboratory apparatus and equipment.
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed strictly, including the appropriate storage of chemicals.
  • Maintain a bank of resources and assist with record-keeping for the department.
  • Provide technical advice to students and support them with research projects.
