We have a great opportunity for a knowledgeable and efficient individual to join us in the role of Science Technician at Leigh Academy Strood from September 2026. Responsible for the smooth 'behind the scenes' operation of the science department, our successful candidate will provide necessary support to our teaching staff from the get-go!
Our Technicians play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of our faculties so it is essential that our successful candidate is confident in providing technical assistance and student support in a classroom environment within this subject area. This position is ideal for those seeking a career in the teaching profession as we can support you through the process.

This is a permanent opportunity, working 37 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week inset with an actual salary of £21,543 - £24,100 per annum (£25,185 - £28,142 full time equivalent), based on experience. Working hours are 8.00am - 4.00pm, with an early finish of 3.30pm on Fridays.
