Leigh Academy Marden has an exciting opportunity to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant with After School Club Supervisor to join our highly collaborative and supportive team as soon as possible. Our teaching support team is pivotal to our success in the classroom, helping children build confidence, develop key life skills, and reach their full potential every single day.
To provide our pupils with excellent continuity of care, we are combining two complementary responsibilities into one complete working day for a single candidate. From 10:00AM to 3:15PM, you will work as a Teaching Assistant, guiding classroom learning and supporting pupils individually or in small groups. Then, from 3:15PM to 4:30PM, you will transition into the role of After School Club Supervisor, facilitating engaging, safe, and enjoyable wrap-around care. Although these roles are joined to offer you a continuous full-day position, please note that they represent two distinct positions with separate pay scales and job descriptions, which are detailed in the application pack.
We are looking for an energetic, caring, and adaptable candidate who thrives both independently and as part of a close-knit team. Prior experience working with children or within a primary school setting is ideal, but above all, we value someone who can inspire and nurture young learners.
Working at Leigh Academy Marden means joining a warm, dedicated community where you can truly make a difference every day. Whether you are exploring a future teaching career or looking to deepen your experience in education, you will benefit from exceptional professional development, career growth opportunities, and a friendly atmosphere where every child and staff member is valued.
If you are a passionate educator ready to make a lasting impact throughout the school day, we would love to hear from you. Please refer to the two attached job descriptions for full details.
