At Leigh Academies Trust, we are seeking a dedicated Finance Officer to join our established and supportive finance team, based at Leigh Stationers' Academy. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth and effective financial operations across the academy.

Working closely with the Principal, Finance Managers, and colleagues across the Trust, you’ll help provide a high-quality financial support service that enables our schools to focus on what matters most - giving every young person the best possible education. Please note that this is a busy position; our successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritise, excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work. Experience working in the education sector is highly advantageous.

The basis of this role is permanent and offers an actual salary of £21,368 per annum (£29,146 full-time equivalent) based on 30 hours per week, term time + 3 weeks inset. The hiring managers can be flexible with the start and finish times and can look to offer either 4 days per week, 8am - 4pm or 5 days per week, 9am - 3:30pm.
