This is a pivotal role, essential to the smooth running of our college. The successful candidate will provide highly effective administrative support to the School Office and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), ensuring operational excellence across all areas. You will be instrumental in the day‑to‑day organisation of a small, dynamic college environment. You will work closely and collaboratively with the SLT, colleagues, the Local Authority, and the wider Trust, handling sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality. This is a varied position where the ability to manage diverse administrative tasks is key.

Who We Are Looking For

While previous experience in a school office setting is desirable, it is not essential. We are seeking a candidate who is:

  • Professional and Personable: Capable of providing an outstanding service with excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive and Positive: Possessing a strong work ethic, a 'can-do' attitude, and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Committed: Passionate about working within the education sector and dedicated to supporting our students and staff. (Previous experience in an educational environment is advantageous.

Essential Skills and Attributes

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate:

  • Outstanding planning skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
  • The ability to work independently, demonstrate a high level of initiative, and solve problems proactively.
  • Strong computer literacy, including confidence with standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite/Google Workspace).
  • An excellent record of attendance and time-keeping is required.
